Back from NB
Well I am back from Nb and what a week we had. First off we had a four hour lay over in Toronto. BORING. Then we got to Fredericton and got lost trying to find the Ramada. Let me tell you we are not use to all off the turns. Edmonton is so straight it's hard to get lost. The next day we looked at 7 houses. First two were in New Maryland and im glad we got those ones out of the way because there was no way we were moving into them. Then we looked a few in Oromocto, one was perfect except for the yard. It was too small for the boys to play in and the yard was sloped. But we kept it on our list. The others not so nice. Then we went to Burton and I found my perfect house. We got back to the office and we were about to put an offer in for it and the owners had just accepted an offer. I was almost in tears. The day was almost over and nothing, we had nothing. Then came house number 8. It had a pool, a play structure for the kids and still had enough room in the yard for the kids to play in, and it was only two houses away from my husbands coworker who just moved there in Feb. It was out of our price range but the owners real estate agent said he wanted to get rid of it so we tried. Nope he just wouldnt budge. Dont get me wrong, it was nice but it wasnt the biggest house on the street and for the price he wanted we could have got alot more. We hardly slept that nite, but the next day we back on our way to look for more houses. Our choices were either to go higher in price or take out that fourth bedroom. I had already made up my mind that we were living in Burton or Oromocto. Finally after 7 more houses we found our house. It only had 3 bedrooms, but a fourth can be build and we barely went over the price we agreed on. We went to go put in an offer and OF COURSE someone was too, I said oh well we are putting one in. So we did and we got the house. Though the one agreement was that we had to move our closing date up 10 days earlier. Im really excited to move now, the house only needs a few things done, nothing important just stuff we want updated. So we had an extra few days so we took a drive to St.Andrews, and I love it there. We found a store where we already bought some house decor., and plan on going back again. Fredericton is beautiful even though i hate hills, i cant wait to start our new life out there and meet some wonderful people. Everyone seems so nice, especially when you get a flat tire on the highway and people stop to help you. Thats it for now,now its time to start preparing for our moving in ONE MONTH.YEAH.

Congrats on the house!!! The good thing about seeing SO many houses is that you now know that THIS is the house for you instead of wondering what else may have been out there! I'm glad you like Fredericton but you will ALWAYS hate the hills LOL!
Glad to see you found your "perfect" house Jo-anne. Hope the moving process goes well for you and your family !
